This firm is looking to bolster their successful education practice with an experienced lawyer, capable of leading on a broad spectrum of corporate education matters. This role involves providing guidance to universities and other educational institutions on corporate law, governance, regulatory, charity law, and funding issues.

• The role will involve advising clients on partnerships and collaborations, including drafting, and reviewing study abroad, dual award, and franchise agreements.

• You will also assist with setting up subsidiary companies and providing guidance on intragroup management / governance agreements, as well as assisting with Charity Commission and Office for Students applications.

• Providing advice on transactions for private education institutions, including share and asset sales, and assist with pre- and post-sale reorganisations of private education groups with complex structures.

• Coordinating banking/finance and real estate activities, advising on statutory dissolution processes and management of legal due diligence, draft, and review of principal transaction documents, assist with disclosure, and preparing ancillary documents.
