4Recruitment Services are seeking an Educational Psychologist for our client based in Portsmouth.

You will be required  to complete the psychological advice for Education Health and Care Needs Assessments.  It will be expected to take approximately 2 days to complete each piece of work to include the assessment and report writing.

 The clients preference would be for face-to-face visits with children but they will accept remote working if required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • British Psychological Society (BPS) recognised first degree in psychology. 
  • A Doctorate or Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, and eligibility for chartered status within the British Psychological Society.
  • HCPC registration
  • Recent, relevant in-service professional development.
  • Detailed understanding and awareness of relevant SEN legislation.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with SEN/Disability, and detailed knowledge of research informed interventions and approaches that prevent and meet SEN.
  • Enhanced DBS check
