eFX Global QA Lead, Vice President

Who we are looking for

Since inception EFX has rapidly expanded from a single team to multiple teams globally.

It now comprises of multiple teams that deliver
  • High Frequency automated trading systems in the principal and client algo space
  • Reference Rate systems with 1000s of automated rate consumer connections
  • Large scale Order Management systems
  • STP and Post Trade systems

The eFX Global QA Lead is responsible for all EFX QA across all these spaces and regions. This is a challenging position that is business facing, requires good communication skills at many levels, exceptional time management deftness and an unwavering commitment to ensure the EFX frequent release policy is met consistently, all whilst adhering to our stringent code quality requirements for each and every release.

Any candidate for this position must possess all these skills as well as demonstrate excellent knowledge of QA automation, regression frameworks, have a strong desire to always keep improving the QA test cycle time, demonstrate Risk Excellence, promote good practises, and be an inspiration for the global QA team.

Since we are in the automated trading space we require a QA team that can assure each and every release is of the utmost quality. As such the QA head is considered an extremely important role in our strategic vision.

As the eFX Global QA Lead you are responsible for the entire EFX Global QA team

  • Experience in large scale global mesh based platforms
  • Experience in high frequency low latency automated trading

  • Ability to coordinate multiple team releases at once with time pressures

Education & Preferred Qualifications/Experience
  • 15 years minimum experience in eFX trading, at a bank or hedge fund
  • Proven track record of the leading large multi-region QA teams
  • Proven track record in QA automation
  • Batchelor of Science degree or similar
  • Proven track record of securing test evidence for audit and regulatory purposes
  • Desire to work within a collaborative, high pressure environment
  • Strong communicator: be comfortable explaining results to both technical and non-technical audiences
