We are looking to recruit a EHC Senior Practitioner- Performance & Complaints team.

The role is paying £308.00 per day umbrella.

You will be required to work 37 hours per week, fully remote.

You will be required to -

  • Have a strong working knowledge of the Children & Families Act 2014, the SEND Regulations and the SEN Code of Practice 2015 and an understanding of The Mental Capacity Act Have detailed working knowledge of the Education, Health & Care statutory assessment process Record and monitor the progress of complaints and ensure timescales are met.
  • Investigate and draft the response to Stage 1 complaints on behalf of the Team Manager, stage 2 complaints for the Service Manager and make recommendation for immediate case worker action. Highlight any practice/malpractice and/or policy issues emerging as a result of the com-plaints work undertaken.
  • Coordinate complaints on behalf of the service, including the contribution of partners and agencies e.g., social care and health and be responsible for organising and servicing the ICDS Complaints Panel.
  • Support the work of responding to legal representatives in relation to Pre Judicial Re-view Action letters and the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGSO), including working with relevant staff to prepare information required.

Experience:

  • Stage 1 and stage 2 complaints on behalf of the Team Manager.
  • Knowledge of Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman.
