We are seeking an EHCP Writing Advisor to join our team within a leading organisation in the public services sector. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the development of an innovative AI product designed to assist in drafting Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Provide subject matter expertise on EHCPs, including best practices and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to translate EHCP requirements into effective AI-driven solutions.
  • Advise on the creation of rules, checklists, and other resources to ensure the AI product accurately drafts EHCPs.
  • Review and evaluate the product’s output to ensure it meets the necessary standards and addresses the needs of users.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and recommendations for product improvements based on extensive EHCP experience.
  • Assist in user testing and the development of training materials to support the implementation of the AI product.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience writing and quality assuring EHCPs.
  • Proven experience in writing EHCPs or similar documentation, preferably within an educational or healthcare context.
  • Comprehensive understanding of EHCP processes, including statutory requirements and best practices.
  • Experience working with multiple councils and familiarity with various local approaches to EHCPs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Passion for leveraging technology to improve educational outcomes and streamline administrative processes.
