EHS Officer
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading manufacturer in the appointment of a EHS Officer. Our client is a world leading manufacturer that supplies a range of products to a lucrative market on a global scale.
The EHS Officer duties will include but are not limited to:
- You will support the business and senior leadership team in the delivery of Health, Safety and Environmental objectives across site
- Promoting a culture for all health, safety and environmental initiatives and improvements
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention.
- Conduct and review risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced.
- Collate KPI data and prepares basic reports – reviewing trend analysis of data
- Works closely with the other departments to issue permits and ensure that permits are issued in line with company standards.
- Ensure all employees and visitorsadhere to safetyprocedures
- Assists with coordinating and delivering EHS programs and training
Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with individuals that have the following skills and experience:
- You must be proactive in your approach with acan doattitude and commitment to solving problems, working autonomously and at a fast pace.
- Qualified with NEBOSH General Certicate
- Minimum 5 years’ hands on HSE experience in either Manager / Senior Advisor level within a manufacturing environment
In return, the business will offer a competitive salary of £40-50,000 per annum, further professional development and opportunities to progress as well as flexible hours.
