Job Description

Position: EICA Project Engineer

Location: Manchester

Hours: Monday - Friday (days)

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

The successful candidate will work as part of the Engineering team, the Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (EICA) Project Engineer will support the Control & Instrumentation Engineer and the Projects Team in delivering projects across the site in the drive for digitisation.

Duties

You will help ensure that new and existing process equipment is effectively controlled to both satisfy the requirements of the internal customer and safeguard a future-proofed solution. You will also be responsible for the technical and cost aspects of project work with due regard for any relevant legislation, including health, safety and environmental requirements. Projects will be delivered by the effective management of external contractors, or companies maintenance team members as appropriate.

Skills and Experience

HNC/HND in Electrical/Control Engineering

PLC Programming Course

PLC programming experience with preferably Allen Bradley/Rockwell. GEM80, Siemens, and Mitsubishi (Desirable)

AutoCAD

Knowledge of PlantPAx or similar systems, desirable

Good IT skills, Competence with Microsoft 365 programs and experience with SAP & Agility would be a distinct advantage.
