Electoral Services Officer, East Midlands Local Authority (Hybrid Role)

Duration: 3 Months
Rate: Up to £25 per hour Umbrella
Location: East Midlands Hybrid (Minimum 2 days per week in office)

Venn Group’s specialist team is pleased to be recruiting for an Electoral Services Officer on behalf of a reputable client. This is an excellent opportunity to play a crucial role in the administration of electoral processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Express Register Management: Efficient use and management of the express register.
  • Register Sync and Rollover: Ensure accurate and timely synchronization and rollover of electoral registers.
  • Work Queue Management: Handle work queues within the register with precision and attention to detail.
  • Elections Back Office Functions: Manage all aspects of elections back office operations, including:
    • Notice of alterations
    • Sending and verifying ballot information between printers and distributors

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with express register and electoral management.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all electoral processes.
  • Availability for a minimum of 2 days per week office attendance.

This role offers a competitive rate of up to £25 per hour under an umbrella arrangement and provides a hybrid working environment, blending remote work with essential office presence.
