Electrical Contracts Manager

Contracts Manager required for our client, an East Anglia-based Electrical Contractor that specialises in commercial and industrial electrical installation contracts and projects across Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and Essex.

Contracts Manager Position Remuneration

• Salary £45,000 - £50,000 (Guide only - negotiable depending on experience)
• Company car
• 30 days holiday, including bank holidays
• Private healthcare
• Working hours; 7:30am - 5pm (Monday - Friday)

Due to a consistently high level of high-value contracts being won by our client, they are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their successful team based out of their office near Bury St Edmunds. The ideal Contracts Manager will have a strong background within the electrical installation industry, ideally from the commercial and/or industrial sector.

The successful Contracts Manager will be working alongside the contracts team to manage multiple contracts with values ranging from £20k up to £3m, including electrical installations within schools, hospitals, universities, and manufacturing facilities.

Contracts Manager Position Responsibilities

• Directly managing on-site teams from multiple disciplines including electrical, CCTV systems, Access Control, and Lightning Protection
• Providing technical support to both clients and on-site teams
• Maintaining client relationships and providing clients with details reports throughout the contract's implementation process
• Visiting both new and existing client sites to complete surveys and price additional works
• Act as the companies NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS)

Contracts Manager Position Requirements

• Strong background within the electrical industry, particularly within the commercial and industrial sector's
• Previous hands-on technical experience within the electrical industry, including a background as a fully qualified Electrician
• Knowledge of the initial survey and design stage of electrical installation projects/contracts
• Previously held an NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS) position, with a strong knowledge of the electrical reporting requirements
• Based within a commutable distance of Bury St Edmunds
