The growth of factory automation projects has led to the need for an extra Electrical Design Engineer, working hybrid, contributing hardware designs for each project.

Here’s a summary of the role:

  • Location: Hybrid role based 2 days at home, 3 days Midlands Office
  • Salary: To £55K + Bonus + £5K car allowance + Some Paid Overtime
  • 33 days holiday, healthcare, pension, many other benefits
  • Role: Electrical Hardware design engineering role in Factory Automation, Robotics, Conveying, Materials Handling projects.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Design electrical schematics, circuits, panel layouts, drives, motor controls, electrical safety, and PLC hardware for each project.
    • Using E-Plan P8 / EPlan Electrical CAD design software.
    • Solve problems the project encounters.
    • Work with Controls Engineers, Project Managers, and Commissioning Engineers to bring big PLC HMI Robotics and machine automation projects to life.
