 Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing company in Normanton to recruit an Electrical Engineer

Salary: £43,807.40 per annum + shift allowance + monthly production bonus

Shift pattern: 3-week rolling shift pattern, days and nights. Every Saturday off. For each three-week block, 11 days in work, 10 days off

The Electrical Engineer will support proactive/preventative maintenance of the manufacturing equipment, services, utilities, and improvement projects and support reactive breakdown maintenance.

Duties of the Electrical Engineer will include:

  • Proactive and preventative maintenance
  • Reactive breakdown maintenance
  • Continual improvement projects
  • Ownership and development of specific production line maintenance
  • Supporting and engaging with lean manufacturing

Wewould liketo speak with Electrical Engineers with the following:

  • engineering apprenticeship or have relevant engineering qualifications
  • proven manufacturing or industrial experience
  • good understanding of manufacturing processes within an FMCG environment
  • Experience in using CNC machinery
  • PUWER experience
  • Knowledge and experience of Siemens s7 PLC, PLC, Pilz Safety PLC, and PLC
  • Fault finding, root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Experience in computerised maintenance management systems
