Kenton Black are pleased to be working with a distillery in Inverness who are searching for a skilled Electrical Engineer who possesses a solid background in engineering,.
Our ideal candidate will be an individual with a minimum of three years of engineering experience, preferably gained within sectors such as brewing, distilling, food production, pharmaceuticals, or the health and beauty industry.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, test, and supervise the installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for industrial use within the hygienic process industries.
- Ensure that all electrical engineering projects and processes adhere to regulatory standards, quality assurance, and control measures.
- Maintain and improve existing engineering systems for increased efficiency and reliability.
- Provide hands-on electrical support and troubleshooting to minimize production downtime.
- Prepare and interpret specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards.

**Qualifications and Skills:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, HND, or HNC, preferably with membership in the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
- At least three years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in hygienic process industries.
- Demonstrated experience with batch process engineering and understanding of associated control systems.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
