Estimator - Electrical

Bromley

£30,000 - £35,000

The Estimators role will be to produce quotes and tenders for small maintenance works and minor projects.

You should have a professional attitude, with a hard working mentality to meet each challenge directly, that our clients present to us.

Our sector is a fast paced, high volume, reactive and planned maintenance electrical works, therefore you will need to be self-motivated, a problem solver, adaptable, and have a willingness to learn new skills & take on challenges, working on your own or as part of a larger team.

Electrical Estimator Responsibilities:

  • Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labour, and equipment.
  • Liaising with the contracts manager to review quotes.
  • Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients, to understand requirements of work and produce a quotation to meet their expectations.
  • Meet on sites to survey works ensuring all requirements are met. (If required)
  • Ensuring quote submissions are comprehensively reviewed and qualified correctly.
  • Reviewing quotes not won and liaising with clients for feedback.
  • Ordering of materials for accepted works
  • Liaising with engineers on a daily basis for materials needed.

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm

Skills Needed:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel/Word/Outlook)
  • The ability to read tender specifications, drawings and produce detailed pricing cost plans.
  • The ability to self-manage time and workloads and multi-task various projects sequentially.
  • Ability to liaise and converse with clients in a professional manner.
  • Full UK driver's licence
