Electrical Fitter - TES
DK Recruitment is actively seeking qualified Electrical Fitters to join the team on-site at Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth. This is a 6-month contract, working within the temporary supplies department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical installations (domestic, commercial, and industrial).
- Responsive and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Conducting EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) and completing remedial works.
- Fault finding and diagnosis.
- Experience working on and testing switchboards and power pillars.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Using various types of test equipment efficiently.
- Familiarity with 3-phase systems (desirable).
Qualifications:
- Minimum City and Guilds Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition BS7671 certification is mandatory.
- Testing and inspection qualifications are desirable.
- Must be eligible to obtain and hold Security Clearance for this role.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 15:45
- Friday: 07:30 - 13:30
(36 standard hours per week, with potential for overtime and shift work)
