JR189: Electrical Fitter

Location: Bromborough, Wirral

Salary: Up To £17.00 Per Hour

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is currently seeking an Electrical Fitter on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage time to work on assigned boats, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Ensure that all boat(s) are completed to the required quality standards.
  • Effectively manage, control, and designate works orders to the appropriate team members.
  • Early and proactive submission of spares requests to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Provide regular and detailed progress updates on assigned boats to the Workshop Manager or management team.
  • Lead by example, motivating the team to uphold a culture of cleanliness, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Inspect and check the quality of all mechanical works, ensuring adherence to technical design drawings.
  • Follow company processes and Health and Safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Be open to any other reasonable requests from the management.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prioritize the health, safety, and welfare of all employees in the workshop.
  • Understanding of Engineering drawing and schematics.
  • Demonstrate significant self-motivation and initiative, capable of managing own workload with minimum supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Possess technical awareness to provide support and training to other team members.
  • Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification
  • Electrical: 3 years (required)
  • Full clean driving licence (required)
