I am currently on the lookout for several Electrical Installation Lecturers to join an FE College based on site at their Campus in Dudley. The role is open to qualified Lecturers as well as anyone straight from industry looking to make the move in to a training role, these candidates will be put through their teaching qualifications alongside training which is fully funded by the College.

The Role:

As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to FE Students aged 16-19. You will deliver already developed content and implement effective teaching strategies, providing mentorship and support to students. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • To deliver City and Guilds to Learners aged 16-19.
  • Update and maintain curriculum materials and course outlines.
  • Assess students ensuring successful progress throughout the course. 
  • Marking and tracking 
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the electrical industry.
  • A recognized qualification in Electrical Installation (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards one.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:
  • Previous teaching or training experience in a further education or vocational setting.
  • Recognised Teaching Qualification.
