Electrical / Instrument Technician

Electrical / Intrument Technicans - ongoing contract based in Northwich, Cheshire. 

You will provide an engineering service including maintenance, repairs, overhauls and preventative measures for the Winnington Sodium Bicarbonate plant, with occasional support to the CCU plant.

Ensuring site and team compliance to statutory and company standards in relation to SHEQ standards within a food grade manufacturing environment.
Carrying out daily maintenance routines, maintenance activities and responding to plant and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
Fault diagnosis, identifying root causes and implementing preventative and corrective improvement actions.
Specify and procure engineering spares and materials ensuring effective and minimum cost maintenance in line with internal procurement procedures.

Communicating with the wider site operational teams and area owners.

Our ideal candidate?
Will be time served, single or dual skilled to NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Control and Electrical skills. (HNC or equivalent would be of advantage).
