Electrical Maintenance Engineer

I am working with a leading provider of comprehensive building services, committed to maintaining high standards in facility management and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Services Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team.

As a Building Services Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems within our commercial properties. You will ensure that all electrical equipment and facilities operate efficiently and safely, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

• Routine Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, control systems, and emergency backup systems.
• Repairs: Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimise downtime and ensure continuous operation of all electrical equipment.
• Installations: Install new electrical systems and components, including wiring, lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets according to blueprints and technical specifications.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Maintain a safe working environment by following all health and safety guidelines.
• Emergency Response: Respond to electrical emergencies and system failures promptly to restore functionality and safety.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations performed. Update logs and prepare reports as required.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance staff, contractors, and facility managers to coordinate work and ensure seamless operations.

• C&G/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Field
• 18th Edition
• Experience in the building services sector in a blue chip organisation or commercial office space
