Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a Sheffield based heavy engineering company to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

Shift Hours: Mornings: 6:00am - 2:30pm Mon - Thu, Friday 6:00-12:00; Nights: 8.00pm - 6:00am Mon - Thu

Reporting to the Production & Maintenance Manager, this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role will maintain all plant and equipment.

Other duties of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer include:

  • Liaise with Maintenance Management and the Production department on a daily basis to resolve daily equipment operating concerns
  • Equipment condition appraisal, refurbishment and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with the Engineering & Maintenance supervisor to ensure the Planning of maintenance work
  • Equipment and Facilities breakdowns and corrective actions.
  • Planned, Preventative and Predictive Maintenance
  • Proactively follow up corrective actions with root cause analysis and permanent countermeasure activity
  • Carry out production fitting activities

We would like to speak with Electrical Maintenance Engineers with the following:

  • Engineering HNC Qualification
  • Apprentice trained
  • 18th edition regulations
  • Experience of PLC fault finding and D.C Motor controls
  • Engineering knowledge rooted in strong maintenance
  • Previous experience in a heavy engineering /hot work environment
