Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • Location: Tonbridge
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: Up to £48,500
  • Shift: Monday - Friday. Week 1, 6am - 2pm, Week 2, 2pm -10pm

Join a leading global specialist business at the forefront of the FMCG sector. We are seeking an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to work closely with the Engineering Manager, focusing on both electrical and mechanical maintenance to uphold high standards within their dynamic team environment.

Day-to-day of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role:

  • Maintain, repair, and improve the performance of various electrical and mechanical equipment and systems within the facility.
  • Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts on specialist machinery
  • Install, test and commission new or upgraded mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate closely with other engineers, technicians, operators and contractors to ensure efficient operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Possession of a valid certification or license in electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical principles, theories, and practices.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment for electrical maintenance tasks.
