Wakefield / Castleford Area
£41,000 (Days – Monday to Friday)
Permanent Role – Well-Established Manufacturing Business

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge within a stable and reputable manufacturing business?

We’re working with a well-established company based in the Wakefield / Castleford area who are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team.

The Role:
You’ll be responsible for providing electrical maintenance support across the site to ensure machinery and equipment are running safely and efficiently. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you’ll play a key part in both planned and reactive maintenance, with a focus on reducing downtime and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out electrical fault finding, repairs, and maintenance on a range of production equipment

Supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules

Working with control systems, sensors, inverters, and PLCs

Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and performance

What We’re Looking For:

Time-served or apprentice-trained Electrical Maintenance Engineer (or equivalent qualification)

Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Strong fault-finding skills and hands-on approach

Knowledge of PLCs and control systems (advantageous)
