Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Location: Blackwood
Salary: £41,123 per annum + (£2,543pa shift allowance) as this will be working Mornings, Afternoons and nights

Hours: Full time, 3 shift system of Days, Nights & Afternoons
Monday - Friday (Av 38hrs)

Here at The Recruitment Co, we are currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician to work for a company based in Blackwood on a full time, permanent role.

Working in a busy environment, your main duties will include; attending to daily
planned maintenance, breakdowns on production machinery and machinery
services, servicing of plant and equipment ready for use.

Main Job Requirements

  • The successful candidate must have completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship, and hold a HNC or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to problems.
  • Flexible working attitude.
  • Experience / knowledge of AC and DC variable speed drives.
  • Good Understanding of PLC's.
  • Knowledge of temperature control and instrumentation.
  • Aptitude to learn.
  • Good understanding of mechanical principles.
  • Experienced in electrical installation
  • Health & safety aware
