Job Description: They are seeking a motivated Electrician's Mate with experience in electrical wire fixing on residential buildings. In this role, you will assist their senior solar electrician with various tasks, ensuring safe and efficient installation of solar systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in the renewable energy sector while working on cutting-edge projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the senior solar installer with the installation of solar panels and related equipment.
  • Handle electrical wiring and connections for residential solar systems.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Support the team with general site duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical wire fixing on residential buildings.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Good physical condition and the ability to work at heights.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Electrical Installation (preferred but not essential).
