JOB TITLE: Quantity Surveyor
LOCATION: London
Role: Permanent / Temp to perm
Hours: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
Salary: 40 - 60k
Benefits: Pension scheme, bonus scheme, 25 days holiday (excl Bank holidays), private healthcare.

Qualifications/Experience Required:
*Good understanding of electrical systems is preferred but not essential.
*Relevant qualification whether degree, HNC, or NVQ in Quantity Surveying (preferred).
*2 years' experience (preferred).
*Candidates without the above may still be considered.
*Strong IT skills, confident in the use of MS, and particularly Excel.
*Have excellent communication skills and team working attitude.
*Have good time management skills.
Experience with temporary services
*Be a methodical and proactive learner.

MAIN TASKS:
*Produce monthly applications for payment (AFP).
*Prepare and submit project variations and general change management.
*Prepare and submit month-end reports after monitoring and analysing monthly cost reports.
*Attend meetings where necessary to progress or agree project accounts.
*Assess, review, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
*Be familiar with standard forms of contract including but not limited to NEC3 & JCT.
*Negotiate subcontract terms & conditions with our clients & contractors.
*Prepare subcontracts, valuation of works executed by subcontractors, and certify interim and final payments.
*Maximise cash flow through control, measurement, valuation of work, invoicing, and cash collection.
*Training and support provided to assist in further development
