A family-owned company specializes in organo-sulphur synthesis and high-pressure hydrogenation. We provide organic chemistry services globally, manufacturing intermediates for the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and specialty chemical industries, among others. Our team of chemists excels in custom synthesis, contract manufacturing, and process optimization.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical Technician to join our Electrical Department at our lower-tier COMAH facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly skilled electrical engineering team, and we are looking for candidates available for an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical preventative and reactive maintenance in an industrial environment.
  • Perform electrical plant installation and modification in an industrial setting.
  • Carry out statutory inspections.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Interpret equipment drawings, manuals, and technical information to assist with all tasks.
  • Adhere to company safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
  • Understand and apply ATEX requirements (preferred).

Qualifications and Training:

  • Minimum RQF level 3 (e.g., City & Guilds level 3) in a practical electrical discipline.
  • Recognized electrical apprenticeship (preferred).
  • 18th edition electrical wiring regulations (preferred).
  • Compex (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification (preferred, not essential).
  • Training with MEWP’s (preferred).
