Electrician & Plumber

Venn Group is currently working with a large Educational Institution to recruit for a Plumber and Electrician to support the smooth running of daily operations across the campus

Location: Berkshire

Duration: 3-6 months, ongoing

Hours: 36 per week

Hourly rate: £16.60 PAYE or £19.40 via an umbrella company

Electrician:

  • Complete maintenance on electrical and lighting systems
  • Carry out repairs and fault finding on electrical equipment
  • Complete underground surveys / CAT scanning
  • Carry out testing of emergency lighting and fire alarm systems

Plumber:

• Maintenance of all plumbing and drainage systems, including ancillary equipment in university owned properties.
• Responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance regimes, in addition to responding to reactive maintenance tasks.
• Installation, maintenance, fault finding and repair of all plumbing equipment, sanitary ware, and associated pipework.
• Unblocking of toilet pans, urinals, sinks and basin wastes and associated pipe work.

Required:

  • Experience with reactive maintenance
  • Rlevant qualification to post (NVQ / 18th Edition)
