We're looking for someone with an excellent understanding of the IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition and a valid UK driving license.

In addition, a recognised electrical apprenticeship and proficiency in manual handling would be highly desirable.

As an electrician, you possess a keen sense for electrical systems and can quickly identify and resolve faulty connections. Your extensive knowledge of health and safety practices ensures a secure work environment, and you excel in providing effective reactive and planned maintenance repairs tailored to meet the specific needs of our customers.

In this role, you'll be responsible for a range of tasks, including electrical maintenance repairs, fire alarm testing, minor installations, and distribution board replacements. When faced with breakdowns, you confidently work alone to investigate the causes of faults and propose practical solutions.

Your ability to work independently is complemented by your strong team spirit. As part of our highly skilled maintenance team, you'll collaborate with fellow professionals who prioritise mutual support and growth. Regular reviews, meetings with your line manager, and ongoing training opportunities will further enhance your career development.

To excel in this position, you'll need a proven track record as a qualified electrician, demonstrating proficiency in fault finding and a deep understanding of safe work practices. Your expertise will extend to fire alarm testing, minor installations, and distribution board replacements. Additionally, your ability to work autonomously and maintain a calm demeanour under pressure is essential.
