Electrician required for our client who specializes in repairing machinery and electrical equipment, and installing industrial machinery and equipment. Our client provides comprehensive services for school and colleges including inspection, maintenance, and compliance with relevant safety standards. The company is recognized for its expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering and its commitment to educational institutions across Southern England.

Electrician Position Overview

Electrician required to work in commercial and industrial sectors, including schools and department stores. The role involves installation, maintenance, fault finding, and comprehensive testing of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance. Works between Southampton and Portsmouth with the odd stay away.

* Install, maintain, and repair wiring, conduit, lighting, and controls in commercial and industrial settings.
* Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine electrical system layouts.
* Ensure work complies with electrical codes and safety standards.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical issues using testing devices and equipment.
* Serve commercial and industrial sectors, including schools and department stores, primarily between Southampton and Portsmouth with occasional travel.

Electrician Position Requirements

* 18th edition
* 2391 testing and inspection (desirable)
* EV car charging experience (desirable)
* Commercial/industrial experience
* UK Driver's License

Electrician Position Remuneration

* £38,000 - £40,000 DOE
* Van plus fuel card
* Overtime available
* Training available
* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
* Accommodation plus food covered when staying away
* Full package discussed at interview
