Electrician

We are currently seeking experienced Electrical Installation Engineers to join our client's team in the Peterborough area. Our client, a leading independently owned property and infrastructure support services company, is known for delivering integrated building and facilities management services to a diverse Blue Chip client base across various sectors including Manufacturing, Food, Government, and private programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical installation and maintenance tasks across multiple sites.
• Perform tray work and conduit installation.
• Provide support for additional electrical installation work.
• Wire control panels accurately.
• Identify and resolve circuit faults.
• Work with 3 phase/single phase motors.
• Implement remedial corrective actions.
• Actively contribute to the improvement of plant operations.

Requirements:

• Experience in building/modifying control panels.
• Knowledge of BS 60204 Electrical equipment of machines/control panels.
• Proficient in fault finding.
• Experience/knowledge of testing to BS7671.
• Familiarity with Risk Assessment & Method Statements.
• Ability to read schematic drawings.
• Strong team player with flexibility in working arrangements.
• Adaptability to periodic tight timescales.

Qualifications:

• Electrical Qualifications (C&G, BTEC, NVQ).
• City & Guilds 18th Edition.
• Electrical testing experience (2391 or 2394/5).
• Industrial experience within the Food/Manufacturing industry.
