Electrician (JIB Gold Card)
Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire
Pay: £24ph CIS/UMB (£18.07 PAYE) (Monday-Friday) | £36ph CIS/UMB (Saturday) | £48ph CIS/UMB (Sunday)
Hours: 50+ hours per week available (Monday to Friday, with optional weekend work)

We're looking for experienced Electricians with a valid JIB Gold Card to join an industrial installation project on a single site in Wakefield. This has the potential to be a long-term opportunity with great hours and excellent weekend overtime available.

About the Role:
You'll be working on the installation of large power generators and all associated cabling. The role includes a significant amount of large metal containment work (tray, trunking, ladder).

Key Duties:

  • Installing and terminating heavy-duty cabling for industrial generators

  • Installing large metal containment systems

  • Reading and working from technical drawings and RAMS

  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site

Requirements:

  • Valid JIB Gold Card (essential)

  • Experience with large industrial electrical installations

  • Competent with all types of large metal containment

  • Able to work independently or as part of a team

What's on Offer:

  • 50 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

  • Optional weekend work available

    • Saturday rate: £36ph

    • Sunday rate: £48ph

  • Immediate starts for suitable candidates
