What You Will Be Doing:

  • Design and Development: Embedded 32/64-bit processor systems, peripherals, and microcontroller systems.
  • PCB Layout: Utilise PCB layout tools to design and develop electronic systems.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers to understand design and development briefs, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure the smooth transition of products into production and assist with any design-related production issues.
  • Testing: Work closely with the test department to ensure the reliability and quality of the products.

What You Will Need:

The company is open to considering either an experienced electronic design engineer or a more recent graduate with one to two years of industry experience.

  • Qualifications: A degree, HND, or HNC level qualification in a relevant subject, such as electronic engineering.
  • Knowledge: A good all-round understanding of electronic design principles.
  • Experience: Proficiency with schematic capture tools and PCB layout experience.

What You Will Receive:

  • Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, with the potential for more for the right candidate.

  • Flexible Working: Standard hours with flexibility to start and finish earlier or later if desired, along with hybrid working options.

The Working Hours:

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-12:30pm on a Friday, but the company do offer some flexibility around this to start and finish a little earlier or later if it suits the person, along with an element of hybrid working if the person desires it.
