Electronics Design Engineer

£51,000 starting salary. 37 hours per week, 3 days on ave on site.

Company based in Portsmouth. Pension, enhanced annual leave & company shares .

Required experience:

  • Experience in defence or high safety environments

  • Design experience for volume production using computer-aided engineering

  • Proficiency in analogue circuit analysis and signal processing

  • Knowledge of power supply and decoupling principles

  • Ability to integrate systems and troubleshoot issues

  • Testing of high voltage alternators with custom equipment

  • Conducted tests on customer platforms

  • Turning requirements into detailed designs

  • Selecting components, creating schematics, and assisting with PCB layout

    Analysing fibre optic systems using specific tools

My client is a global Aerospace & Defence organisation, with this site being based in Portsmouth. They are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to focus on the electronic aspects of torpedo design, repair, and maintenance.
