Electronic & Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Mildenhall, Suffolk

Exciting opportunities have emerged within a company producing training equipment for the Military and Defense sector. Looking for a proactive Electronic & Electrical Maintenance Engineer to spearhead projects and innovate new products.

Position Summary:

  • Troubleshoot machinery failures and breakdowns, specializing in electronic and electrical systems diagnosis and repair.
  • Program PLCs and upgrade control panels for automated systems.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment faults promptly.
  • Implement fault finding, repairs, and enhancements across all facets of control systems.
  • Install new equipment and electronic control systems with precision.
  • Undertake PLC programming to optimize system performance.
  • Replace outdated control systems to ensure company-wide operational consistency and efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in supporting dynamic production environments.
  • Demonstrated track record in a production support role.
  • Proficient electronic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of diverse electrical control systems, instrumentation, PLC programs, and systems integration.
