They are looking for experienced electronic & mechatronic technicians with relevant experience in handling and repairing electrical and electronic components (especially experience with batteries, soldering and the repair of printed circuit boards) to join a small training area in Paderborn.

As an electronics technician / mechatronics technician you will be responsible for:

• Repairing or replacing equipment that consists of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical/electronic components.

Required experience

• Relevant experience in handling and repairing electrical and electronic components (especially experience with batteries, soldering and the repair of printed circuit boards)
• Good knowledge of German HSE guidelines.
• You are motivated and work results-oriented
• Creativity - You excel at proactively finding solutions for repairs (spare parts are not always available for some of the old systems)
• You work in a service-oriented manner and are motivated to satisfy customer needs in a solution-oriented manner

Required Qualifications

• You have an apprenticeship or degree in the field of electrical engineering, you are a certified electrical engineer

• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience, or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience;

• Working experience with network support activities in the field of LAN switching;

• Experience with Passive Network Infrastructure systems

• At least 2 year recent experience with monitoring Cisco Prime

• At least 2 year recent experience with Cisco ISE client devices resolution

• Experience with Cisco Wireless Access Points and related configurations

• Recent experience with Microsoft IPAM

• Recent experience with DNS and DHCP.

• You are fluent in German and English (most of the staff on site speak German, but English is required to communicate with the customer)
• EU Class B driving licence

Security Clearance needed for this role but can apply once accepted for this position.

German nationality required.
