Embedded Linux Engineer - Guildford - Semi remote - £60k - £85k

Hexwired Recruitment is recruiting for a world leader in Video solutions based in Guildford now seeking an Embedded Linux engineer to help develop a range of products the company is looking to bring to the market.

The company are expanding due to recent successes and are now seeking an Embedded Linux Engineer with a strong focus on Linux Kernel development to help bring innovation to their products as well as updating their existing products.

This is an Embedded Linux role within a multinational team. You will get the chance to influence the final design of their products as well as excellent scope to progress within the business. Due to the nature of the work, the company are very interested in candidates with a Video background. But similar industries can be considered.

Key Skills:

  • Degree in Embedded systems, Computer science or similar
  • 3+ years commercial Embedded C experience
  • Good commercial Embedded Linux experience
  • Experience building Device Drivers from scratch
  • Previous experience working on Media and Video Streaming relatated products
