Embedded Software Developer

Location: Remote

We are thrilled to offer an opportunity for a talented software developer to join a dynamic team. This role involves developing and maintaining cutting-edge code for electronic sensor systems used in the sports industry.

Position Summary:

  • Code Maintenance: Maintain and improve the codebase for electronic sensor systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Software Development: Engage in various software development activities focusing on embedded systems, contributing to the creation of robust and efficient solutions.
  • Firmware Support: Provide ongoing firmware support and development for production testing and calibration equipment, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Algorithm Implementation: Implement algorithms developed in other programming languages such as Python and C#, integrating them seamlessly into existing systems.
  • Time-Critical Processes: Manage and optimize time-sensitive processes to enhance system responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Firmware Updates: Develop and implement bootloader/OTA BLE firmware updates and ensure firmware encryption for enhanced security.

Required Skills:

  • Educational Background: A degree in computer science or a closely related discipline.
  • Programming Expertise: Demonstrated experience in developing applications using the C programming language.
  • ARM Processor Experience: Proficiency in working with ARM processors, with a deep understanding of their architecture and functionality.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration and documentation.
