We are recruiting on behalf of one of our long standing customers who are looking for an Embedded Systems Software Engineer that will be responsible for the development for all embedded software solutions across their suite of products.
They are looking for someone to help them drive their products forward and help create the future of their products by:
- Hands-on embedded software development for new products and enhancements to existing products
- Customise Yocto distributions / board support packages (BSP) to provide additional functionality
- Actively participate and document software architectural solutions
- Work closely with project lead to keep to schedules, requirements, specifications, and deliverables
- Collaborating with internal and external cross-functional teams influence key decisions and ensure the solution goals are met
They are looking for skills and experience in:
- Experience in full life cycle embedded software development
- Skills in development and verification using C/C++
- C# (optional/nice to have)
- Expertise in the development of embedded software systems with Linux, (Yocto preferred), on ARM architectures
- Understanding of IoT development principles and security an advantage
- Experience with maintain CI/CD pipeline and automated test an advantage
- Agile development methodologies
