Embedded Software Engineer - Nottingham - Realtime safety critical systems

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a rapidly expanding Electronics manufacturer based near Nottingham, who are now seeking a Embedded Software Engineer to develop a pioneering mission critical propulsion system.

The company are working with customers globally to develop novel solutions to a range of applications, utilising the latest technology available! You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, developing a pioneering application that will be used globally.

As an Embedded software engineer, you will be working on real time Embedded systems, to develop a unique engineering solution from scratch.

Key Skills:

  • Degree in Computer science, Electronics, Embedded Systems or similar
  • 2+ years commercial Embedded C experience
  • Experience working on Real time systems (VxWorks, Nucleus, SafeRTOS, FreeRTOS etc)
  • Experience working on safety critical standards is highly desirable (IEC, DO-178 or similar)
  • The ability to gain security clearance is essential.
