Our client, a leading global organisation is currently recruiting for an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join their team on a contract basis until the end of 2025.

Key duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with internal teams to define test scopes
  • Collaborating with Engineers to develop comprehensive test strategies for projects
  • Analysing test results and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Developing automated testing frameworks and scripts
  • Addressing potential software issues during production in the field
  • Producing relevant project artifacts as required
  • Proactively identifying areas for process improvements within the testing process


The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in developing test cases for embedded software
  • Experience of developing hardware and integration test cases
  • Ability to find hardware faults through software
  • Experience with Python test automation frameworks such as Pytest
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of testing methodologies
  • Strong debugging skills
