The Events Manager will be responsible for the successful development and execution of Broadridge's in-person and virtual events in the EMEA and APAC regions. The digital-focused candidate will develop innovative and engaging events that drive revenue and pipeline development, increase Broadridge's reputation and awareness, and meaningfully engage with our clients, prospects, and Broadridge associates. The role will partner with Marketing, Sales and Business Leaders.

Key components of this position include leveraging technology platforms and event best practices to deliver quality client experiences. The ideal candidate will understand platform integration with internal CRM systems, as well collaborating with internal clients on event strategy.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support revenue, retention, and reputation goals by partnering with Marketing, Sales and Business Leaders to develop and execute world-class in-person and virtual events for clients, prospects, and associates.
  • Oversee event experiences and logistics from concept through post-event: managing budgets, preparation, production, speaker outreach, etc. while ensuring consistent, high-level service throughout all phases including management of event, attendee registrations, email communications, and coordination.
  • Ensure all programs are measured with a consistent and appropriate set of KPI's contributing to department ROMI measurement and reporting.
  • Stay current with best practices for event planning, technology, multimedia production and design trends.
  • Nurture and build relationships with vendors and other industry contacts to craft and implement creative and logistical aspects of all virtual events.
  • Identify and create process improvements.
  • Maximize Broadridge's presence at events with a uniform and consistent brand identity, speaking opportunities and digital innovation
  • Deliver a premium client experience across a wide range of events, including roundtables, industry conferences, Broadridge events and hospitality
  • Negotiate venue and sponsorship deals, and manage vendor relationships
  • Drive resource and cost efficiencies through consistently applied global processes, documentation and reporting
  • Support digital and video content creation at events
  • Improve environmental footprint of Broadridge events through best practice sustainability efforts
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in producing virtual and in-person events
  • Proven success in generating leads via client/prospect engagement programs
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken & written)
  • BA/BS Degree preferable
  • Experience working with: Cvent, ON24, Socialive, GlobalMeet, Webex, and/or SalesForce a plus

Requirements
  • Travel up to 30%
  • Must have experience delivering events in Europe and Asia with an understanding of local nuances and requirements. Must be able to work remotely and across time zone to execute events in many different geographies. Must also be able and willing to travel to events in the UK and Europe, as required.
  • Must be able to command professional client facing discipline and efficient lead capture. Provide on-site support at events as needed.
  • Thinks creatively outside the box and originates unique concepts and ideas to deliver innovative event experiences
  • Must be familiar with the latest tech trends and smartech tools, and able to leverage them to enhance the event experience.
  • Be highly organized, a strong project manager, and detail-oriented to successfully deliver complex events that involve many moving parts.
  • Must be able to foster cross-functional partnerships to ensure events comply with Broadridge's contractual and anti-bribery obligations
