Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced Financing Solutions professional to lead our client service team looking after our Repo, Agency Lending and Prime Brokerage businesses. State Street's European presence in securities lending is long-standing. In that time, we have built a long and enviable list of clients, spanning the very top tier of asset owners, pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign entities, and alternative clients. This will be an opportunity to form a new group within Global Markets Financing Solutions - Client Service. We are looking for an individual who will be able to be innovative, strategic, and willing to drive change within an organization. This individual will have a role will need to form a team of high-performing individuals to support our clients' daily servicing needs in the financing products as well as play a leading role in influencing internal stakeholders. As such, ensuring that our client-facing organization is operating smoothly and delivering for our clients is of paramount importance.

This role can be performed in a moderate hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements but having a core of days in the office each week.

What you will be responsible for
As EMEA Head of Financing Solutions Client Service you will:
  • Create a new team within Global Marks and Financing Solutions, to develop a best-in-class client servicing team
  • Manage an experienced team of client service professionals, including all necessary administrative tasks to support client activity in Repo, Agency Lending and Prime Brokerage
  • Serve as the escalation point for client servicing related items, including interactions with senior client stakeholders to drive change
  • Establish rules of the road between client service and the relationship managers to ensure our clients are fully supported from end-to-end
  • Establish a support system for the relationship managers and sales teams within Financing Solutions to create a seamless onboarding and servicing model, including creation of presentations, improve reporting, and manage of daily client activities
  • Influence key internal stakeholders to grow our existing relationships, optimize revenue and improve client satisfaction
  • Coordinate across Asset Services and other State Street divisions to execute on strategic RFPs and pricing decisions, including driving change to improve these processes
  • Contribute to financial budgets and drives execution against clearly defined revenue, expense and NIBT metrics and milestones;
  • Understand securities lending market dynamics, anticipate any potential client impact, engage with and manage clients accordingly;

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • BA (Hons) Degree Financial Services
  • 10+ years of financial services experience
  • 5+ years of Financing Solutions experience
  • At least five years of client-facing experience
  • Experience managing a team
