Required for a September 2024 start, we are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support students in our alternative provision, based within a mainstream secondary school.

This position would suit an individual who is supportive and is able to challenge students to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive 'can do’ attitude and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will also be required to support within lessons in the mainstream school.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a good standard of education to GCSE level in English & Maths;

• Possess good ICT skills;

• Be reliable, conscientious and committed to supporting students in all aspects of learning;

• Be enthusiastic with the ability to relate to young people;

• Understand the importance of this role and be a team player;

• Be calm, but with a good sense of humour.
