Employability Tutor
Are you an experienced Employability Tutor looking for your next career!
Position Overview :The role involves managing and supporting a caseload of Skills Bootcamp candidates as they progress through their 12-week program and transition into employment. You will deliver group Soft Skills and Employability Skills sessions as well as provide one-to-one coaching. Mentoring learners to ensure they have a fantastic experience, complete their Skills Bootcamp, and secure new IT positions is key.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach candidates through their Skills Bootcamp and transition into employment.
- Deliver Soft Skills and Employability Skills training sessions to motivate and develop candidates, both in group settings and one-on-one.
- Understand individual needs and barriers, evaluate steps for improvement, and provide relevant support.
- Manage a caseload of candidates, building strong working relationships.
- Consistently achieve KPIs related to supporting candidates through course completion and into IT sector employment.
- Support and motivate challenging candidates to overcome barriers and achieve objectives.
- Assist candidates in developing their CVs, preparing for interviews, and job searching.
- Provide constructive feedback to candidates for their ongoing personal development.
- Act on survey results and ongoing feedback to continually improve performance and sessions.
- Create action plans for candidates, monitor their progress, and collaborate with technical trainers.
- Cross-train across Software Development, IT Technician, and Data Technician pathways.
- Integrate new starters into the team and assist with training.
- Encourages, motivates, and supports those around them.

Location: Hybrid (London office)
Office Days: 2 days per week
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary:
- Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
OTE: £8,000 - £10,000
