Colleges in Birmingham are seeking Employability Tutors who is passionate about the subject and can inspire learners for the next academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, as well as carrying out course lead and tutorial duties.

The roles are temporary ongoing during term times and hours can be part-time and full-time depending on availability at the colleges.

Job Title: Employability Tutor

Position: Part-Time/ Full-Time

Role type: Temporary ongoing

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £26 - £28 p/h including holiday pay

Day-to-day of the role:

• Course delivery by creating and updating engaging presentations for employability courses.
• Develop training materials to deliver employability content.
• Provide advice and support to learners.
• Asist learners in progressing into further education, employment, training or volunteering.
• Assess, monitor, support and record student progress.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of a range of educational programmes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A recognised Teaching Qualification.
• Experience delivering employability or life skills courses.
• Relevant qualification at a minimum of Level 3.
• Maths and English at a minimum of Level 2.
• Relevant industrial experience.
