Job Title: HR/Employee Relations Advisor

Position: Full Time

Role type: Permanent

Location: Birmingham – Longbridge

Rate: £30,003 to £32,496

The successful HR/Employee Relations Advisor will have the following skills and qualifications:

• To provide expert advice and guidance on all HR and Employee Relations matters, such as disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance, capability and people management. Ensuring the application of the college’s people policies, procedures and employment law.
• To assist with ensuring pay, rewards and benefits are applied in accordance with employee terms and conditions
• Experience within a similar role minimum 2 years experience of working within a HR function providing advice and guidance
• A sound working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice and the ability to apply this knowledge
• CIPD Level 5 or working towards  
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
