Employee Relations Officer
- Job Type: 12-month contract (with possibility of further extensions)
- Location: City Hall (near Canning Town or Royal Victoria on DLR) - hybrid work 3 days work from home (dependent on meetings)
- Pay Rate: - £21.63 - £23.87 per hour PAYE or £27.48 - £30.43 per hour Umbrella
- Provide advice on the application of HR Policy, including disciplinary, resolution, sickness absence, and other employment issues.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and maintain records as required.
- Manage the ER casework inbox, responding to queries and work alongside the ER Casework Advisor.
- Support managers with Occupational Health referrals and review sickness absence data.
- Monitor the end of fixed-term contract processes and workplace adjustment activity.
- Maintain trackers for ER casework and workplace adjustments.
- Proven experience in ER casework, ideally within a similar role.
- Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures related to ER.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficient in using HR systems and maintaining accurate records.
