Employment Lawyer – 2 to 5 Years' PQE
Are you an Employment Lawyer with 2 to 5 years' PQE looking for an exciting opportunity in Aberdeen? We are working with a top-tier Employment team that is looking for a talented Associate to join its dynamic group. About the Team:
This team is highly regarded for its expertise and extensive experience. It provides comprehensive national and international coverage, working with leading FTSE blue-chip organisations. The team is known for delivering strategic, pragmatic legal advice and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer strategic employment law advice and manage complex employment tribunal claims
- Handle cross-border issues, restructuring, redundancy and senior-level grievances, including discrimination and whistleblowing complaints
- Advise on executive-level employment matters such as recruitment, termination, compensation arrangements, bonus claims, team moves and enforcement of restrictive covenants
- Engage in high-value and High Court litigation
- Support clients in M&A and outsourcing projects
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in employment law within a commercial practice
- Strong technical and market knowledge
- Experience with strategic employment law advice and complex tribunal claims
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Commercially aware with an understanding of large international firm operations
- Strong academic background
