This reputable law firm are offering a fantastic opportunity for a professional, technically strong and engaging individual to join as an Associate, in their Hull-based Employment Team.

The team specialise in employment law, committed to providing high-quality legal services to clients. With a focus on integrity, professionalism, and client satisfaction, they strive to deliver tailored solutions to meet the diverse needs of their clientele.

Position Overview

  • They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Employment Solicitor to join the growing team.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in advising and representing both employers and employees on a wide range of employment law matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on various aspects of employment law, including contracts, policies, procedures, and compliance issues.
  • Handling employment disputes, including unfair dismissal claims, discrimination cases, and breach of contract disputes.
  • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Representing clients in employment tribunal proceedings and negotiations.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in employment law and providing proactive advice to clients accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in employment law.
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling a broad range of employment law matters.
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive and commercially astute approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
