An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a growing Employment Team at a leading Legal 500 firm in their Waterloo office. This role is ideal for a Newly Qualified (NQ) to 2 years' Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) Employment Solicitor, though more experienced candidates will also be considered. The focus is on finding the right fit for the firm, team, and clients.

The Employment Solicitor's Role

The successful Employment Solicitor will work on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. This includes providing advice on settlement agreements, handling disciplinary and grievance matters, and managing employment tribunal cases. The role requires a strong understanding of employment law and the ability to offer high standards of client care.

To be considered for this Employment Solicitor role, candidates must demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with clients and within the team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
  • Excellent IT skills and self-sufficiency.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of client care and compliance.
  • An interest in marketing and team development.

The successful Employment Solicitor must be willing to work from the office to ensure continued development and knowledge exchange within the team. Some travel between offices and client sites may also be required.
