The ideal candidate will be adept at advising a diverse range of clients within sectors such as retail, health, logistics, and insurance. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload and contribute to the firm’s growth through business development activities.
Reporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate will handle a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious work, primarily for respondents, with some work for individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Caseload Management: Independently handle a complex caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- Documentation: Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service and tailored legal advice.
- Business Development: Participate in business development opportunities to help expand the firm’s client base and enhance its market presence.
- Experience: Proven experience in handling a diverse range of employment law matters.
- Skills: Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage a complex caseload efficiently.
- Client Service: Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality service and build strong client relationships.
- Business Development: Experience in or willingness to engage in business development activities.
